Ascend Performance Materials CEO Phil McDivitt appeared on CNBC's Mad Money with Jim Cramer to talk about producing specialty materials to fight COVID-19. McDivitt and Cramer discussed Acteev™ technology, Ascend's groundbreaking virus and bacteria protection for fabrics and high-touch surfaces – face masks, apparel, upholstery, air filters, cellphone cases and more.

Cramer wore an Acteev Protect™ fabric mask printed with the Mad Money logo during the segment.

While Ascend is selling Acteev Protect masks directly to consumers, McDivitt said the beauty of the technology is its versatility.
