奥升德将在国际橡塑展 (Chinaplas) 上展示不断扩大的 PA66 材料系列，专注于可靠供应

Ascend Performance Materials, the largest fully integrated producer of polyamide 66 (PA66) resin, will showcase its growing range of Vydyne^® PA66 solutions for automotive, electrical and electronics, consumer and industrial applications at Chinaplas 2018.

Among the PA66 solutions to be presented at Chinaplas will be the company’s newest flame-retardant grade for electrical and electronic applications: Vydyne FR350J. Debuted at Fakuma 2017, Vydyne FR350J achieves the highest GWIT (glow wire ignition temperature) rating with zero flame, and exhibits a best-in-class GWEPT (glow wire end product temperature) rating of 775 C. Vydyne FR350J is the ideal material for use in unattended appliance connectors.

“Our E&E products are expanding the performance and processing capabilities of PA66,” says Vikram Gopal, Ascend’s vice president of technology. “Vydyne FR350J offers unique properties, finished part performance and is also very easy to process, saving our customers time and money.”

The company will also have on display a number of automotive applications, including materials designed to withstand challenging environments. Ascend will cover its latest solutions for lightweighting and electrification with two in-booth presentations: Beyond material: Engineered solutions for engine downsizing and electrification and Safely managing 48V e-mobility systems with PA66.

“Our focus is on helping customers solve their complex material challenges,” says Scott Rook, Ascend’s vice president of nylon. “We develop compounds to meet particular specifications and increase productivity, and by making investments in capacity, we are working to ensure we have enough material to support their long-term growth with the market.”
